Account & Data Deletion

1. App & Developer Reference
This data deletion policy applies to the JivanShailee mobile application, developed and operated by Dahikar Technologies Private Limited.
2. Steps to Delete Your Account
Users have two ways to request the complete deletion of their account and associated data:
Option 1 (In-App): Open the JivanShailee app, navigate to your Profile/Settings, and tap the "Delete Account" button. Follow the on-screen prompts to authenticate and permanently erase your account.
Option 2 (Via Email): Send an email to support@dahikartechnologies.com from the email address or phone number associated with your account. Include the subject line "Account Deletion Request." Our team will process your request within 7 business days.
3. Data That Will Be Deleted
Upon account deletion, the following data is permanently erased from our active servers:
- Your personal profile (Name, Phone Number, OTP identifiers).
- All highly sensitive journal entries, mood reflections, and Maha Mirror intake answers.
- All synced Apple HealthKit, Google Health Connect, and wearable biometric data.
- Prana scores, streak data, and AI Voice Mentor logs.
4. Data That Is Retained (And Why)
- Transaction Records: We retain anonymized In-App Purchase transaction references (handled via RevenueCat, Apple, and Google) for up to 7 years strictly to comply with Indian tax, accounting, and anti-fraud laws.
- Audit Logs: Minimal server access logs may remain in encrypted cold-storage backups for up to 90 days before being automatically overwritten. This data cannot be used to restore your active account.
